Natasha Katz has designed extensively for the theatre, opera, and dance. She is currently represented on Broadway by The Little Mermaid and Impressionism. Other recent Broadway: Hedda Gabler, The Country Girl A Chorus Line, Coast of Utopia/Salvage (Tony Award 2006) The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Tarzan, Aida (Tony Award 2000), Taboo, Lennon, Urban Cowboy, Flower Drum Song, Sweet Smell of Success, Twelfth Night, Dance of Death, The Capeman, Barrymore, Beauty and the Beast and Gypsy, Among her other designs are: Cyrano with Placido Domingo at the Metropolitan Opera, Die Soldatan at New York City Opera, Don Quixote for American Ballet Theatre, Tryst for the Royal Ballet in London, Carnival of the Animals, and An American in Paris, choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon at New York City Ballet. She designed the lighting for concert acts for Shirley MacLaine, Ann-Margret and Tommy Tune. She has designed extensively Off-Broadway and for American regional theatres.
Permanent installations include the lighting for the audio-visual shows at Niketown NYC and Niketown London, The Masquerade Village at the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, EFX! at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and the Big Bang in the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the Hayden Planetarium in New York City.
