Anna Louizos is currently represented on Broadway by IN THE HEIGHTS, for which she received a 2008 Tony Award nomination for her scene design, and by AVENUE Q. Other Broadway productions that have benefited from her scene designs are CURTAINS (Drama Desk nomination); HIGH FIDELITY (2007 Tony nomination); IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS (Broadway and multiple cities); TO BE OR NOT TO BE; STEEL MAGNOLIAS; GOLDA'S BALCONY (Broadway and national tour); and the upcoming MINSKY'S. Off Broadway Louizos has been represented by VANITIES, THE MUSICAL (Second Stage); CRIMES OF THE HEART (Roundabout); SPEECH AND DEBATE (Roundabout Underground); IN THE HEIGHTS (37 Arts - Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel nominations); BASED ON A TOTALLY TRUE STORY (MTC); BIRDIE BLUE (Second Stage); ALTAR BOYZ (including US tour); THE FOREIGNER with Matthew Broderick (Roundabout); Jonathan Larson's TICK, TICK...BOOM! (world premier). She attended Mills College and has a Master of Arts degree in scenic design from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
